This week we compared reactions of vinegar and baking soda. We used different amounts to see which created the largest reaction.
This week we were experimenting with static electricity. We tried to make an empty aluminum can "race" without actually touching it or blowing on it. Only the power of static electricity was allowed. Yikes!
This week 3rd/4th grade GT students analyzed the reactions of different catalysts. Aka. "We made things explode"!
3rd/4th grade GT students are participating in The Stock Market Game! We are learning about the market, how to analyze stocks, and investing $100,000 "pretend" dollars in the market. We are learning SO much!
3rd/4th grade GT students explored the properties of Oobleck! Is it a solid? Is it a liquid? It's both!
3rd/4th grade GT students used their engineering skills to create roller coasters for marbles. They had to include a hill and a loop. Whee!
